WEA Community Development Corporation is a new nonprofit local office located on the Far Eastside of Indianapolis that goal is to convene and collaborate with neighborhood residents and organizations, government, philanthropy, and the private sector to revitalize Indianapolis’ urban communities and transform places to be better places to live, work, raise families and do business.
It will be highly received through various initiatives that WEA CDC will support with resident-led efforts and community partners by serving as a catalyst and backbone for these initiatives. WEA CDC will look to provides capital, technical expertise, training, and information through collective impact initiatives to support the creation of employment/job readiness opportunities; commercial, industrial, and community facilities; entrepreneurial opportunities/businesses; which in entail will create more jobs.
We envision a community defined by equity, resilience, and shared growth—a place where families want to live, businesses want to invest, and generations can flourish together.
